Traquair Medieval Fayre

Traquair dates back to 1107. It was originally a hunting lodge for the Kings and Queens of Scotland and later a refuge for Catholic priests in times of terror. The Stuarts of Traquair played their role in the colourful history of Scotland as supporters of Mary Queen of Scots and the Jacobite cause.

Demolition began quickly but looks to have halted. I hope they can rebuild it quickly as it was a popular and handy store. Read more
