Clanadonia Keepin It Tribal
Hot from performing at “T in The Park” the previous day, straight all the way to the “Tall Ships Race” event in Greenock, Clanadonia are a Tribal Pipes and Drums band, steeped in the Pictish/Celtic traditions of Scotland.
The character of these performers is “keepin’ it tribal” and they do that by engaging with the crowd so this band are probably best in among the crowd not confined to such a small stage. I’m not saying they weren’t their usual good selves. It was just odd seeing them on a stage. It’s certainly easier to photograph when they are out in the open.
I’ve encountered them in various places by now so am developing quite an archive of shots of them. It wouldn’t surprise me if they recognise me by this time or maybe not me but my lens pointing at them 🙂
