The Second Linlithgow Classic Car Day
Following the first stage of the Second Linlithgow Classic Car Day (2011) to South Queensferry, the classic cars returned to Linlithgow for a meet-up in the town’s market square and at the Linlithgow Palace car park. I think Mary Queen of Scots would have been very impressed with such an array of gleaming prestige marques parked in her yard!
Both are stunning and appropriate settings to view the cars with the associations of nostalgia and history. The warm sunshine arrived at the right time, although there were occasional fleeting clouds to catch the unwary or impatient photographer too.

I managed to shoot over 100 images and it is impractical to include all, so these are a selection. I will publish more on this page as I find time and I may publish some more in isolated articles in due course so please visit again or search the categories for related topics.
For example there is an earlier article with selected photographs from the Leven Vintage Car Rally.
